On Sunday, August 24, a picnic of the Circassian Associations of the Central Black Sea Region was held at Lake Borabay.
The Circassian Association of Samsun, the Circassian Association of Çorum, the Circassian Association of Tokat, the Circassian Association of Hamamözü, the Circassian Association of Sungurlu, the Circassian Association of Turhal, the Circassian Association of Erbaa, the Circassian Association of Merzifon, the Circassian Association of Amasya and the Circassian Association of Vezirköprü took part in it.
The picnic brought together a large number of members of the associations. After a short performance by the youth troupe of the Turhal Association, the participants danced a Circassian (adyghe) dance with pleasure to the accompaniment of the accordion and harmonica.
