The World Masters Sambo Championship ended in the Kazakh city of Uralsk. The famous sambo coach Arambi Khapai from the Republic of Adygea won silver,- the Republican Committee on Physical Culture and Sports reports.
“Our eminent fellow countryman, Honored Master of Sports in Sambo, Honored Trainer of thr Russian Federation Arambi Khapai, who took second place in the weight category up to 88 kg, pleased us with his success at this tournament,” the message says.
In total, more than 600 athletes over 35 years of age from 19 countries took part in the tournament.
