An athlete from Adygea won a bronze medal at the World Taekwondo Championship

 


An athlete from the Republic of Adygea Kadyrbech Daurov won a bronze medal at the World Taekwondo Championship. The head of Adygea Murat Kumpilov wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

The tournament held in Azerbaijan and dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the World Taekwondo Federation. The tournament brought together the strongest representatives of 144 countries of the world in Baku.

On the way to the medal, Kadyrbech defeated athletes from France, Japan, Slovenia, and Tunisia. In the semifinal match, he lost to the representative of Serbia.

"The bronze medal of the World Championship is a significant achievement, on which I congratulate our athlete and his mentor! I wish you continued success." Kumpilov wrote.
