The international robotics festival "RoboFinist-2026" took place in Kronstadt, Russia, from October 3 to 4, 2026. This year, the event brought together over a thousand young engineers, with more than 10,000 guests visiting the venue over the course of two days. Participants showcased their skills in programming, designing, and operating robots.
In the "Aqua-robots" category, a team from the "Turbo" educational center in Adygea took first place. The team included Danila Goncharov, a student at Secondary School No. 23 (in the village of Khanskaya), and Dmitry Shalygin, a student at Maykop Gymnasium No. 5. The team was led by Marina Sergeyeva, a senior instructor at the "Turbo" educational center.
In this category, the "Turbo" team delivered consistently high-level performances across all their attempts. A well-thought-out robot design, strong programming skills, and a sound strategy enabled them to outperform experienced rivals and secure the gold, according to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Adygea.
