Filming has begun on the documentary project "White Gold of Adygea"

Filming has begun in the Republic of Adygea (wetern part of the Circassian homeland) on the documentary project "Adygea’s White Gold." The project focuses on Circassian (Adyghe) cheese, which is considered the republic’s gastronomic symbol.

The project is being produced with the support of the Institute for Internet Development (IRI) and continues the successful collaboration between creators Adam Achmiz (Director of Adygea TV) and Yulia Bondareva and the organization.

Led by Adam Achmiz and Yulia Bondareva, the film crew has started production on a documentary that will introduce viewers to centuries-old cheesemaking traditions, unique production techniques, and the people who keep this craft alive.

This marks the second project by the team to receive support from the IRI.
Previously, Adam and Yulia produced the documentary "Guardians of Culture," which highlighted the people preserving Adygea’s traditions. That film garnered a strong response and was screened not only in the Russian Federation but also internationally—in Turkey and Morocco.
