Weightlifters from Adygea Win 5 Medals at the Championship of the Russian Federation

Weightlifting Championship of the Russian Federation for men and women took place in Moscow from September 9 to 14.

Athletes from the Republic of Adygea won five medals, according to the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Adygea. 

Yana Sotieva won three gold medals in the 86 kg weight category: 100 kg in the snatch, 123 kg in the clean and jerk, and a total of 223 kg. Her coach is R. V. Kazakov.

Aslan Bzasezhev won two bronze medals in the 65 kg weight category: 120 kg in the snatch and 148 kg in the clean and jerk. His coach is A. D. Siyukhov.
