The Circassian (Adyghe) people have always shared a special bond with horses; they were viewed not merely as animals or a means of transport, but as loyal companions, comrades-in-arms, and even brothers. In Circassian culture and the *Adyghe Khabze* (the Circassian code of conduct), the horse holds a sacred place. The importance of the horse to the Circassians is even reflected in the language, where the words for "brother" and "horse" share the same root: *shi*.
At the Circassian Farm, you can experience this unique bond between the Circassian people and their horses under the guidance of the farm's owner, Ayman Napso.
