In the village of Dzhambechiy, Krasnogvardeisky District, Republic of Adygea, a new modern paddy rice processing plant has been launched on the premises of the peasant farm owned by Goshpak Dautovna Khunagova, a private farmer. The plant is a full-cycle production facility, from grain acceptance and storage to the production of finished grain.
Key plant features:
- Processing capacity: The plant can process up to 150 tons of paddy rice per day.
- Storage capacity: The complex is designed to store and process up to 30,000 tons of rice.
- Production cycle: The plant is a full-cycle plant. It performs the entire range of tasks, from receiving and cleaning raw materials directly from the fields to drying, hulling, polishing, and subsequent packaging of the finished grain. Technological capabilities: the equipment enables the efficient processing of both elite premium and first-grade rice, ensuring high-quality grain.
The plant is designed to process crops grown by farmers in Kuban and Adygea, as well as imported rice from neighboring regions.
The Head of Adygea Visited a Leading Agricultural Enterprise for Rice Cultivation

During a trip to the Krasnogvardeisky District, the Head of the Republic of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, visited one of the republic's leading rice-growing enterprises, Individual Entrepreneur G.D. Khunagova.
The head of the republic reviewed the production technology, assessed expansion prospects, and emphasized the importance of rice cultivation as a strategic industry for Adygea.
The owner of the peasant farm, Goshchpak Khunagova, noted that the farm uses modern agricultural technologies, which allows it to increase yields and product quality. This season, the rice paddy area has increased by 280 hectares, bringing the total area under cultivation to 1,500 hectares. 1,300 hectares (87%) have been threshed, yielding 8,300 tons of rice with a yield of 65 centners per hectare, up 5 centners per hectare from last year.
The farm operates a full production cycle, from cultivation to processing. The rice mill in the village of Dzhambechiy, with a capacity of up to 150 tons per day, processes paddy rice from the fields. Production Manager Ruslan Oganesyan explained that the equipment allows for the production of several product categories, from premium grain to by-products.
Goshchpak Khunagova thanked the republic's leadership for its state support measures and assistance in modernizing the farm. Murat Kumpilov instructed relevant agencies to provide comprehensive assistance to farmers, emphasizing that the development of the agro-industrial complex remains a priority for regional policy.
During the meeting, the prospects for rice cultivation, personnel training, innovation, and collaboration with research centers were discussed, as well as the completion of the harvest in Adygea.
