In his report on the Cabinet of Ministers' work for 2025, Murat Kumpilov, Head of the Republic of Adygea, announced that tourist flow to the republic continues to grow steadily.
Last year, Adygea welcomed a record 1 million tourists, 17% more than the year before. The influx of tourists during the January holidays was particularly significant: the number exceeded 156,000, representing a 32% increase.
The development of tourism has had a positive impact on the region's economy: hotel revenues increased by 12% to 3.7 billion rubles, while tax revenues to the republic's budget doubled to 227 million rubles.
Event and gastronomic projects contribute significantly to attracting visitors. The annual Circassian (Adyghe) Cheese Festival has already become a driving force for tourism. Last year, 70,000 people attended the event.
A new gastronomic festival, "Friendship Hearth," launched at the end of May. It aims to strengthen friendship between peoples through the introduction of the cuisines of Adygea and other regions. The festival site was a renovated park in the city of Adygeysk.
