Ali Khasanov (Adygea), an athlete and alumnus of the Maykop Judo School, won the gold medal at the 2026 Kocaeli Judo Hopes Tournament European Cup, held in Turkey, according to the Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of the Republic of Adygea.
The judoka competed in the 60 kg weight class and confidently performed in all his bouts. 442 athletes from 12 countries participated in the prestigious international tournament.
Ali Khasanov is a student of Dmitry Khakurinov, Master of Sports of Russia and Honored Coach of Adygea.
