Zaur Libzu Wins Two Medals at the Asian and Oceanian Sambo Championships

 


Circassian wrestler Zaur Libzu, representing Jordan, won two medals at the Asian and Oceanian Sambo Championships held in Manila, the capital of the Philippines. The competition runs from June 25 to June 28. This was reported in the website of the International Sambo Federation - https://sambo.sport/en.

In the junior age category from 18 to 20 years, weight up to 79 kg, he won a silver medal.

In the youth age category from 16 to 18 years, weight up to 79 kg, he won a bronze medal.

This achievement comes as an extension of the series of successes that Libzu has achieved in recent years, as he previously won a silver medal at the Asian Championships in Tashkent 2025, in addition to winning a bronze medal at the World Youth Championships in Indonesia, which reflects his ongoing technical development and his ability to compete at the highest levels.

It should be noted that Zaur Libzu's wrestling career began in the Republic of Adygea, Russian Federation, and his extended family lives in the city of Maykop, the capital of Adygea.
