Murat Kumpilov and Sergey Menyailo
A cooperation agreement between Adygea and North Ossetia-Alania was signed on the sidelines of the 2026 St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The Government of the Republic of Adygea announced this.
The document was signed by Murat Kumpilov, Head of Adygea, and Sergey Menyailo, Head of North Ossetia-Alania. The agreement provides for the expansion of bilateral ties in trade, economic, scientific, technical, cultural, and humanitarian areas.
Joint exhibitions, conferences, seminars, meetings, roundtables, and other events related to cooperation are planned, as well as the development of ties between industry organizations, the exchange of best practices, specialist training, and more.
"North Ossetia-Alania regularly participates in educational, cultural, sporting, scientific, and other events held in Adygea. We also send our artists and athletes to our fraternal republic, exchange knowledge and specialists in the humanities, and cooperate in the economy. I am confident that the document signed today will strengthen this cooperation and benefit both regions," Murat Kumpilov noted.
