Circassian wrestler Anzor Zakuev won the PWL Nalchik 74 tournament

 



The Professional Wrestling League PWL Nalchik 74 tournament was held in Kenzhe, Kabardino-Balkarian Republic. Sixteen of the strongest freestyle wrestlers from 11 countries competed for the title in the 74 kg weight class,- the Ria Kabardino-Balkaria news agency reports.

In the final bout, Anzor Zakuev of Kabardino-Balkaria faced American Cannon Webster and won with a score of 4:3.

This victory earned Zakuev the opportunity to challenge for the PWL championship belt against Olympic champion Zaurbek Sidakov.

As a reminder, Sidakov won the belt in March at the PWL 11 tournament in Tashkent, where he defeated the current world champion, Kota Takahashi from Japan.
