On May 15, the Russian All-Style Karate Championships for the 12-13 age group were held in the city of Oryol, Oryolvsky Region. Athletes from Adygea won three gold medals, according to the republican branch of the All-Style Karate Federation of the Russian Federation.
Approximately 600 athletes from 54 regions of the Russian Federation participated in the competition. The Republic of Adygea was represented by a six-member team. Coaches Vladimir Vasilchenko, Vyacheslav Leus, and Nikita Poprugin prepared the athletes for the tournament.
The competition was held in three discipline groups. Athletes from the republic competed in the "Full Contact with Protective Equipment" and "Limited Contact" categories. They took the top three places.
Egor Drobyshev won the gold medal in the 54 kg weight class in the "Full Contact Fights with Protective Equipment" event, while Ilya Ofitsial won the 51 kg weight class. Samir Pakov also won the gold medal in the 39 kg weight class in the "Full Contact Fights with Protective Equipment Without Parry" event.
