Ibragim Kumyshev, a graduate of the Baksan District Sports School in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, won a gold medal at the European Grappling Championships, which took place in Yerevan, Armenia, according to the municipality's press service.
The athlete competed as part of the Russian national team. In the under-17 age category and 85-kilogram weight class, Ibragim demonstrated a high level of technical skill and willpower, which allowed him to confidently outshine his competitors and take the top step of the podium.
