Every year, a festive popular sports event is held in the Circassian village of Kfar Kama in Israel. The event Called "Around Kfar Kama," and it attracts participants of all ages, young and old. Participants have two routes, several kilometers long, around the village: one for cyclists and one for pedestrians. The event attracts not only village residents but also people from all over Israel.
The event's goals are to promote sports and hiking, and to introduce the Circassian village, the Circassian people, and the Circassian homeland.
After the bike ride and walk around the village, participants return to watch Circassian dances, sample Circassian delicacies, and learn about the village, Circassian history, and culture.
