Films about the Circassians by Askarbiy Nagaplev were shown in Krasnoyarsk

 


Films by Askarbiy Nagaplev, a film director from the Republic of Adygea, CEO of the film company "Circassia-Film," and Honored Artist of the Republic of Adygea and the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, were screened in two cities in Krasnoyarsk Region, according to Sovetskaya Adygea.

Over the course of four days, Askarbiy Nagaplev's films were shown at several venues in Krasnoyarsk and Divnogorsk. Audiences saw the films "Circassians: The Path of Honor," "A Feat of Mercy," and "Shagdi: Outpacing the Arrow." The screenings were preceded by creative presentations by the director and an introduction to the history and ancient culture of the Circassian (Adyghe) people. In return, the guest from Adygea was given tours and sightseeing tours of Krasnoyarsk and Divnogorsk. A live broadcast was organized on regional television and radio.

The director noted that Khazret Sovmen, a native of Adygea and an entrepreneur and philanthropist, is well known and loved in the Krasnoyarsk Region. Many significant Krasnoyarsk buildings were built with his participation, and his contribution to the development of gold mining has ensured the region's industry remains a leader to this day.

"I hope that the trip to Krasnoyarsk and the numerous meetings with the general public will contribute to further rapprochement between our two regions," concluded Askarbiy Nagaplev.
According to the director, the entire visit took place in an atmosphere of warmth and goodwill.
