Since 2010, Circassians around the world have celebrated Circassian Flag Day on April 25. This day is an official holiday in the Republic of Adygea, and the government regulates various events held on this day.
In the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria, the Republic of Karachay-Cherkessia, and the Shapsugia region of the Black Sea, Circassian movements and organizations organize events on this day.
Circassians in the diaspora in Turkey, Syria, Jordan, Israel, European countries, the United States, Canada, and other countries also celebrate Circassian Flag Day.
Throughout Circassian history, various flags have existed, and the current flag, green with three arrows and twelve stars, was adopted as the flag of the Circassian state by a resolution of the Circassian People's Congress held in Tuapse in 1830.
