The Judo Championships of the Russian Federation for U18s concluded in Khanty-Mansiysk.
Tamerlan Unezhev, a trainee of the Lokomotiv Sports Club and a representative of Kabardino-Balkaria, won a gold medal at the prestigious competition for the second consecutive time, according to the Ministry of Sport of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
In the final bout in the 55 kg weight class, the native of the republic faced a strong opponent. The bout ended prematurely: Tamerlan Unezhev, having secured a waza-ari decision, confidently landed a submission hold on the ground and secured a clear victory.
