Thanks to the efforts of the Export Support Center of the Republic of Adygea to develop business ties with Azerbaijani businesses, Adygea companies have signed 15 export contracts with partners from that country over the past six years,- the Sovetskaya Adygeya newspaper reports, citing a statement from the center.
"This demonstrates the high potential of the Azerbaijani market for regional producers," the statement reads.
Since 2020, the center has organized five on-site business missions, one reverse business mission, and one exhibition in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
The next event will be held from March 10 to 13 in Adygea. This will be a reverse business mission with the participation of a delegation from Azerbaijan. The key event of the business program will be an official meeting between representatives of the foreign delegation and the region's business community, which will take place on March 11 at the "My Business" center in Maykop. The Azerbaijani delegation included three foreign companies interested in expanding their product range and finding reliable suppliers from Russia. These included a chain of flooring and furniture stores and large food distributors.
The purpose of the visit is to explore Adygea's production and export potential, negotiate direct supplies, and conclude foreign trade contracts.
Export-oriented small and medium-sized businesses in the Republic of Adygea, whose operations include the production of sunflower oil, confectionery and chocolate products, soft drinks, flooring, as well as logging and woodworking, are invited to participate in the business mission.
"For local business representatives, this is a unique opportunity to present their products directly to foreign buyers without additional intermediary costs," the center added.
The program also includes visits to production sites of Adygea enterprises. Foreign guests will have the opportunity to personally evaluate the quality of the products, evaluate their production capacities, and discuss cooperation details directly on-site.
The event was organized as part of the implementation of the national project "International Cooperation and Export".
