Dairy Production Growth in Kabardino-Balkaria

Agricultural enterprises in four municipal districts of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic increased milk production from January to November last year compared to the same period in 2024, according to the Ministry of Agriculture of Kabardino-Balkaria.

The Chereksky District led the way, with productivity increasing by 7.2%, followed by the Maysky District with a 5.6% increase, followed by the Tersky District (+4%) and the Baksansky District (+3.3%).

Milk production volumes largely depend on the quality of the forage base and the balance of cows' diets; improved land reclamation measures increase the gross harvest of grain and forage crops and ensure the necessary volume of forage procurement.
