The Russian Weightlifting Cup for men and women is being held in Lyubertsy from February 3rd to 6th. A total of 232 weightlifters are participating, AM reports.
Aslan Bzasezhev from the Republic of Adygea won bronze at the Cup. He competed in the 67 kg weight class and lifted 124 kg in the snatch and 152 kg in the clean and jerk. His total lift of 276 kg earned him the bronze medal.
Aslan Mukharbievich Bzasezhev, a Master of Sports in weightlifting and active athlete, was born on May 20th, 1999, in Koshekhabl village, Adygea. He began weightlifting in 2014, when he was in 9th grade.
