The opening ceremony of a new mosque in the city of Adygeysk in the Republic of Adygea took place on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
The ceremony was attended by the head of Adygea, Murat Kompilov, who spoke to hundreds of people who came to the opening ceremony.
The mosque was built by donations, with the main donor being Circassian businessman Nart Sykhu, who returned to the Circassian homeland a few years ago and now lives in Moscow.
