At the Ivan Yarygina International Freestyle Wrestling Championships in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, three Circassian wrestlers took the top three places in the 74 kg weight class.

In the final, Timur Bizhoyev took first place, defeating Anzor Zakuyev. Third place went to two wrestlers: Inalbek Shireyev (Circassian) and Zaurbek Sidakov (Ossetian).

The tournament's surprise came in the semifinals, where Anzor Zakuyev defeated Olympic champion Zaurbek Sidakov.

Many Circassians commented joyfully on these victories on social media, but some expressed regret that three strong Circassian wrestlers were competing in the same 74 kg weight class. They think it would be better if they competed in different weight classes.

The Ivan Yarygina Grand Prix Championship is considered one of the most important international freestyle wrestling championships, featuring the best wrestlers in the world who have won medals at the Olympics and world championships. The championship also has a festive character with thousands of spectators coming to watch the games.
