Over 300 guesthouses in Adygea will be added to the Rosaccreditation registry.

Starting September 1, 2026, Adygea will join the nationwide experiment to regulate guesthouse activities, which has been approved by law. Information on all guesthouses in the republic, which totals over 300 properties, must be included in the Rosaccreditation registry, announced Murat Kumpilov, head of the republic, in his MAX messenger channel.

"Guesthouse owners now have the opportunity to legalize their businesses under clear conditions and with minimal paperwork," he wrote.

Adygea's participation in the experiment will elevate the region's tourism product. The head of the republic emphasized that the authorities are interested in ensuring that visitors to the region have only positive memories of Adygea and a desire to return.

He noted the positive experience of fifteen regions of the Russian Federation participating in this experiment. This demonstrates the need for its expansion for the further development of domestic tourism.

Moreover, as part of the experiment, providing tourist accommodation services in private residential buildings is permitted for the first time, subject to voluntary classification of guesthouses. According to Maxim Reshetnikov, head of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the experiment will create transparent operating conditions that guarantee tourists the required quality and safety standards, as well as generate additional revenue for regional budgets and provide an incentive for the development of hospitality infrastructure.

The national project "Tourism and Hospitality Industry" is also contributing to the development of tourism in the region. The republic has seen an increase in new modular non-permanent hotels being built with government grant support. Eight such projects were supported in 2023–2024, creating 119 rooms. Three modular hotel projects will be implemented in 2025.
