Islam Libzo (Adygea) won bronze at the All-Russian Judo Competition (U15)

Islam Libzo, a student of the Adygea Republican Sports School of the Olympic Reserve in Judo named after Ya.K. Koblev, won bronze at the All-Russian Judo Competition for Boys and Girls U15 for the "Labor Reserves" Prize, his coach, Salim Basto, told Sovetskaya Adygeya.

The competition, which brought together more than 200 athletes born in 2011-2012 from 19 regions of Russia, was held in Tyumen. Islam Libzo competed in five bouts in the 55 kg weight class, winning four of them early and losing one to the tournament winner, finishing third.

"Islam is a multiple winner and runner-up of city, national, and interregional judo and sambo competitions. He is currently training for the upcoming 2026 Southern Federal District Championship," the coach explained.
