Circassian taekwondo athlete Milana Bekulova became world champion (U21)

 



The World Olympic Taekwondo U21 Championships concluded in Nairobi. Milana Bekulova, a a Circassian athlete from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (the eastern part of the Circassian (Adyghe) homeland), successfully competed for the Russian national team, winning the gold medal in the 49 kg weight class. This was reported by RIA Kabardino-Balkaria.

Bekulova's path to the top of the podium was unbeatable: she won all her bouts without dropping a single round. This victory was a fitting end to her season.

Earlier this year, Milana already won silver at the adult World Championships in China.

The champion's training is being led by Honored Coach of Russia Amir Akhmetov.
