Milana Bekulova (Circassian) won a silver medal at the World Championships.

 

On October 28, 2025, Milana Bekulova, an athlete from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (Caucasus - Circassian homeland), won a silver medal at the historic World Taekwondo Championships in China. 

 The championships are held every two years, and this year, athletes from 182 countries participated. The World Taekwondo Federation unites 214 countries and a total of approximately 80 million athletes. 

 Despite stiff competition, Milana demonstrated a strong performance and brought international recognition to Kabardino-Balkaria. 

 It is worth noting that Milana won under the guidance of Amir Akhmetov, Honored Coach of the Russian Federation.
