The highest suspension bridge in the Russian Federation has opened at the all-season Arkhyz resort in the Karachay-Circassia Republic,- the Circassian Homeland (Cherkes Kheku) newspaper reports.
This unique attraction is located at the top station of the Orbita cable car, at an altitude of 3,030 meters above sea level, and is part of a new high-altitude extreme park.
The suspension bridge will be open to the public before the start of the 2025-2026 ski season. Resort guests can walk across the 100-meter-long bridge, offering panoramic views of the Caucasus Mountains and the summit of Mount Elbrus.
Adults and children can walk across the bridge. Walking across the bridge requires a special safety harness.
