Kabardino-Balkaria: Elbrus Resort to Get Night Lighting and Artificial Snow

In the new ski season, guests of the Elbrus resort in the Kabardino-Balkaria Republic (the east of the Circassian homeland) will have the opportunity to ski in the evening, and the resort will also upgrade its artificial snowmaking system,- the news agency RIA Kabardino-Balkaria reports.

In the first stage, the Azau-Krugozor section will be fully illuminated. Its entire 2.4-kilometer route will be brightly lit by 54 masts with lights, most of which will be located in the Azau glade ski area.

In addition, the ski slopes will be less dependent on the weather, thanks to upgrades to the artificial snowmaking system and a number of necessary maintenance works, which will be fully operational in November 2025.
