Circassian athlete Asker Irigov from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (eastern Circassian homeland) lifted 420 kg in the powerlifting deadlift at a tournament held in the city of Baksan - Kabardino-Balkaria.
Asker Irigov was a three-time world champion and world record holder in the 110 kg weight class. His best result to date is 420 kg. He holds the title of Master of Sports of the Russian Federation.
