The Circassians, who are scattered all over the world, do not miss a single opportunity to participate in conferences or festivals in order to introduce the world to this beautiful Circassian people with their history, culture and beautiful customs.
This time we will tell you about Circassian activists from Canada who organized an exhibition at one of the festivals in Notre-Dame-de-Grâce. The initiator of the exhibition was Gulnar Musa Khatko, a social activist on Canadian issues and together with him she is also a social activist on Circassian issues.
The exhibition featured the Circassian flag, books on Circassian history written in English and French , as well as many Circassian items.
We present to you the text that Gulnar wrote on her Facebook page along with the photos:
Circassia... the land of the ancestors...
Proudly attended the annual cultural festival of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce, where its tent shone alongside the tent of the National Assembly of Quebec.
We were honored by the visit of National Assembly Member Desiree McGraw and Future Montreal leader Jean-François Cacou, who listened to a presentation on Circassian culture, its rich heritage, and its ancient history.
Very beautiful adyge way way
