The Circassian Association in Ankara elected a new board

The Circassian Association in Ankara (Turkey) held its 38th regular general meeting at the association building on Sunday, August 24. This was reported in the Facebook page of the association.

The general meeting began its work with a speech by the association president and speeches by guests. This was followed by a report on the activities of the board over the past year.

Following the agenda, the process of electing a new board for the organization began. One list of new candidates for the board was presented and the general meeting voted by a majority vote for the presented list. 14 members were elected to the new board, headed by Yusuf Hatko.

In the speech of thanks given by the head of the new board, the association's commitment to strengthening its institutional structure, expanding its cultural activities and continuing its work for the needs of society was emphasized. As well as its continued efforts to preserve the values of Circassian culture and pass them on to future generations.
