Circassian athlete Aslan Bzaszezhev won silver at the Russian Weightlifting Championship

 

Circassian athlete from the Republic of Adygea Aslan Bzaszezhev won silver medal at the Russian Weightlifting Championship among men in the 67 kg weight category in St. Petersburg. This was reported by the Committee of the Republic of Adygea for Physical Culture and Sports.

The competition was held in the Arena concert and sports complex on Krestovsky Island in honor of the 140th anniversary of weightlifting. More than 200 athletes from 53 regions of the Russian Federation competed for the victory.

Based on the results of the championship, the Russian national team will be formed to participate in the World Championship, which will be held in October this year. It will include 16 athletes of the country.
