At the All-Russian weightlifting tournament "In Memory of the First President of the Chechen Republic A. A. Kadyrov", athlete from the Republic of Adygea Aslan Bzasezhev won a gold medal in the 67 kg weight category,- the Committee of the Republic of Adygea for Physical Culture and Sports reports.

The competition was held at the Olympic sports complex in Grozny, the capital of the Chechen Republic. Aslan Bzasezhev showed a result of 125 kg in the snatch and 150 kg in the clean and jerk, gaining a total of 275 kg in the biathlon. 166 athletes from 17 regions of the Russian Federation competed for the victory.
