Circassian climber Alina Pekova from Kabardino-Balkaria conquered the 11 eight-thousander

A famous tourism instructor from the Republic of Adygea, Ali Khatkov, wrote about this on his social media account.

" I even decided to take a few deep breaths and calm down before writing this (because my emotions were literally going through the roof). There is an eleventh eight-thousander in the treasury of Alina Pekova! There are eleven highest peaks on the planet for 2023! – he wrote.

On October 6, the girl climbed to the top of Mount Cho Oyu, whose height is 8201 meters.

According to Khatkov, Alina Pekova literally burst into the elite world mountaineering community, having climbed 11 eight-thousanders during April-October this year.

“Alina breaks all stereotypes and established traditions, when other mountain climbers have been doing the same for many years,” the instructor added.

Let us remind you that in an exclusive interview with SA, the girl said that in a few months she reached the tops of 8 highest points on the planet: Mount Annapurna, Everest and Lhotse, Makalu, Nanga Parbat, Broad Peak, K-2 and Gasherbrum-1.

The ninth peak was Mount Mansalu in central Nepal, and the tenth was conquered by Dhaulagiri.

Alina Pekova lives in the city of Nalchik, the capital of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic.
