Anzor Gomleshko won gold at the World Youth Sambo Championships

From October 6 to 8, the World Youth Sambo Championships are being held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, in which athletes from 28 countries participate.

The best among juniors in the weight category up to 64 kg was Anzor Gomleshko (Circassian) from Teuchezhsky district of the Republic of Adygea. The athlete won gold, winning 4 bouts with sambo wrestlers from Moldova, Kazakhstan, Armenia and Mongolia. Anzor Gomleshko also fulfilled the standard of an international master of sports.

This was reported by the newspaper “Soviet Adygea” with reference to the telegram channel of the head of the Republic of Adygea Murat Kumpilov.

“A medal of the highest standard is the result of an athlete’s daily hard training, the efforts of his coach and mentors. Congratulations on your success and wish you new bright victories!” Kumpilov wrote.

The coaches of the athletes are Adam Delok and Ali Gomleshko.
