The composition of the municipality "City of Maykop" directly includes the city of Maykop and eight rural settlements - x. Kosinov, x. Gaverdovsky, x. Cheerful, pos. Western, pos. Podgorny, pos. Rodnikovy, pos. Severny and the village of Khanskaya,- this was reported by Adygeastat.
As of January 1, 2023, 163,766 people live in the municipality of Maykop, of which 73,317 are men and 90,449 are women. 139,687 people live in the capital of the Republic of Adygea.
“As of September 1, 2023, 2,874 legal entities and 5,804 individual entrepreneurs are registered in the Statistical Register for the Maykop City municipality,” the report says.
