Circassian athlete Rolan Kunizh won gold at the Russian Judo Championship

 


The Circassian athlete Rolan Kunizh from the Republic of Kabardino-Balkaria won gold at the Russian Youth Judo Championship held in the city of Tula,- the press service of the Russian Judo Federation reports.

On November 23-26, the Russian Judo Championship was held in Tula. More than 620 athletes from 69 constituent entities of the Russian Federation competed for 16 sets of awards at the country's main competition in the 18-20 year age group.

After winning five fights, Rolan Kunizh entered the decisive match in the weight category up to 90 kg with the leader of the second part of the tournament, Damir Gubeev, who competed under the banner of the Moscow region. Rolan Kunizh finished the final match with a victory.
