Dear friends, today ended one of the most tragic
events in the history of the Circassian (Adyghe) people - a war that brought great suffering
our people, all involved in it. This day is commemorating in the Republic of Adygea
as the Day of Memory and Sorrow for the victims of the Caucasian War of the 19th century.
