Nagaplev makes a documentary film about the Circassian sultans of Egypt

A film crew from the Republic of Adygea, led by film director, member of the Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation Askarbiya Nagaplev, is shooting a documentary film "Circassians - Warriors and Masters",- the press service of the Ministry of Culture of Adygea reports.

According to the script of the film, it is supposed to highlight the history of the second Circassian Mamluk dynasty of the sultans of Egypt, who ruled the Egyptian sultanate from 1382 to 1517.

Video filming took place at the Egyptian National Military Museum, the Cairo Citadel (the residence of the Circassian Mamluks (Burjites), at the pyramids of Giza and in the Cairo Archaeological Museum. The film also involves shooting from Amman (Jordan) and Istanbul (Turkey).
