The festival will bring together the best celebrants Dzheguako (wedding organizer) and performers of folk musical instruments of the republic of Adygea,- the Ministry of Culture of Adygea reports .
"The festival contributes to the revival of the institute “Dzheguako” (Khyatiyako), and also raises topics related to the study of history, educating the younger generation in the spirit of the Circassian etiquette - Adyghe khabze and its attributes “Adyghaghe”, which are necessary for the preservation of folk traditions, original moral and ethical normal. It is also aimed at creating favorable conditions for the functioning of Adyghe folklore, identifying new talented Dzheguako and performers on Circassian (Adyghe) folk musical instruments,” the Ministry of Culture commented.
The festival will take place on September 29 at the rural House of Culture of the village of Ulyap, Krasnogvardeisky district, in the format of the traditional Circassian wedding (nysesche dzhegu) with ancient rituals and folk dances. Starts at 14:00. Everyone is invited to participate.
The festival is organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Adygea and the Center for Folk Culture of the Republic of Adygea.
