Timur Bizhoev became the silver medalist of the Russian Freestyle Wrestling Championship

 

Timur Bizhoev, a Circassian wrestler from the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic, became the silver medalist of the Russian Freestyle Wrestling Championship, RIA Kabardino-Balkaria reports on Thursday.

Yesterday, in the city of Kaspiysk, Dagestan, several more sets of awards of the Russian Championship in freestyle wrestling were played.

Having made it to the finals in the weight category up to 74 kg, Timur Bizhoev met in the decisive fight with Chermen Valiev from North Ossetia. The meeting ended with a score of 1-1, but the last point was given to the Ossetian athlete, who became the winner of the competition.

As AdygLife previously reported, on the previous day of the competition, Inalbek Sheriev became the silver medalist of the Russian Championship in the category up to 70 kg.
