In the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria, on May 12, the Nalchik Cultural Development Center, the largest in the republic, was solemnly opened, built within the framework of the regional project "Cultural Environment",- Ria Kabardino-Balkaria reports.
The opening ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Nadezhda Reverend and Head of the Republic Kazbek Kokov.
More than 213 million rubles were allocated for the construction of the new center within the framework of the national project, of which 145 million rubles - from the federal budget, 63 million rubles - from the republican.
The building, whose area is more than one and a half thousand square meters, has the shape of a flower. The center has a multi-purpose auditorium for 177 seats with dressing rooms, requisite rooms, wardrobe and control rooms. There is also a dance gymnasium, specialized classes, administrative and service and technical rooms, a lobby with a cash desk and a cloakroom and cafe.
