According to preliminary data, the production of greenhouse vegetables in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic in farms of all categories in 2022 amounted to over 24 thousand tons, which is 101.3% compared to 2021,- the press service of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kabardino-Balkaria reports.
From greenhouse vegetables in Kabardino-Balkaria, mainly tomatoes are grown, cucumbers are in small volumes, and leafy greens are in the third position - parsley, dill, sorrel, spinach.
Greenhouse vegetable growing is actively developed in personal subsidiary farms of the population, they account for about 60% of the total volume of greenhouse vegetables produced in Kabardino-Balkaria.
