Cheese production increased by 20% in the Republic of Adygea


According to the results of the last year (2022), the production of cheeses and cheese products increased by 20% in the Republic Adygea - 26 thousand tons were produced. A significant contribution to the development of the industry is made by the main gastronomic brand of the republic - Circassian (Adyghe) cheese,- the press service of the head of Adygea reports.

The implementation of the 2nd stage of the investment project for the production and processing of goat milk by Mirny-Adygea LLC will also affect the further increase in the production of dairy products. Last year, the investor put into operation a dairy complex for 3,000 heads of dairy herds. The capacity of the milk processing plant today is 15 tons per day.

At the same time, according to the head of Adygea, Murat Kumpilov, there is an acute shortage of milk in the sector. In the republic last year, 120 thousand tons of milk were produced in all categories of farms. The head of Adygea set the task to increase the pace of development of dairy farming.
